The Cave Shrine of Tiamat
The most famous and widely performed play in the Protectorate the Cave Shrine of Tiamat tells the story of a idyllic village brought to ruin by the discovery of a secret shrine to Tiamat . The villagers destroy themselves with paranoia as they accuse one another of being the cultists without any evidence ever being presented that the shrine is still in use . Adventurers are summoned to the town to fight the cultist who turn out to be nothing bu con men , thieves and brigands who only make things worse . In the end the town is driven to ruin and abandoned .
