Rian Tevard "the Ever Armed"
The tradition of dueling societies along the Mooril River is widely considered to be the legacy of Rian Tevard , known as the Ever Armed , the Songsaber , and the Dancing Blade . In her day Tevard traveled the river extensively , earning a reputation as a brash and bold provocateur unmatched in bravado and her penchant for disruption . Dedicated to “nothing less than a good time” Tevard was a firm believer in the theatric , engaging in impromptu battles with blade and spell in highly visible areas and then singing (with great skill) about those same exploits that night in some seedy tavern . Although technically an outlaw Tevard and her groupies often received little more attention from law enforcement than a wink and a nod . Many , many oldsters can claim to have crosses blades with the Ever Armed at one time or another but it is widely believed that Urthon Aedar the wandering judge (known also sometimes as Armored Justice) put an end to Tevard’s merry-making .
